MOVIE JUDGING: The Movies will be judged by Sponsor or a panel of independent judges appointed by the Sponsor (the "Judges"), who shall use the criteria set forth below to determine the top one-hundred (100) Finalists. The Movies will be graded based on the following pre-determined set of criteria:
Appropriateness to the Contest Theme: 25%
Overall Appeal of Movie: 20%
At the end of the Judging Period, the one-hundred (100) Movies that received the highest scores during the Judging Period (the "Finalists" or "Finalist Entry") will move on to the Public Voting Period. In the event of a tie for the Movie Judging the following criteria will be used. The tied Movies with the highest score in Criterion A, Appropriateness to the Contest Theme, will be deemed the potential Finalist. If additional tie breakers are needed, the following tie-breaking mechanism will be used: All remaining tied Entries in Criterion A will move on to the next tie breaker and the highest score in Criterion B will be deemed the potential Finalist, if still tied then all remaining tied Entries in Criterion B will move on to the next tie breaker and the highest score in Criterion C will be deemed the potential Finalist, if still tied then all remaining tied Entries in Criterion C will move on to the next tie breaker and the highest score in Criterion D will be deemed the potential Finalist and if needed the remaining tied Entries will be judged by a different judge in accordance with the same criteria set forth above.
PUBLIC VOTING: The "Public Voting Period" will take place at the Site beginning at 12:00:01 AM (ET) on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 and ending at 11:59:59 PM (ET) on Tuesday, July 9, 2013. Each eligible Finalist Entry may be voted on by the general public, including by each Entrant; however, a person may submit only one (1) vote per Finalist Entry per person each day, regardless of whether entrant has more than one email address during the Public Voting Period. An Entrant may vote for his or her own Movie Entry.
To vote, visit www.facebook.com/DisneyLearning, click "Like" to become a fan of the Disney Learning page, click on the Contest tab on the Disney Learning Facebook page, to vote for your favorite Movie.
In the unlikely event of a tie in determining the Grand Prize Winner, the tied Finalist with the highest score in Criterion A will be named the Grand Prize Winner. If additional tie breakers are needed, the tie-breaking mechanism will be used; however, instead of the highest score in Criterion A determining the potential Grand Prize Winner from among the tied entries, the highest score in Criterion B will determine the potential Grand Prize Winner. If there still is a tie after Criterion B is used, the tied entries will move on to the highest score in Criterion C will determine the potential Grand Prize Winner and if there still is a tie after Criterion C is used, the tied entries will move on to the highest score in Criterion D will determine the potential Grand Prize Winner. If additional tie breakers are needed, a separate judging panel as determined by Sponsor will determine the potential Grand Prize Winner from among the tied entries based on the Judging Criteria above.
